In small bowl, mix powdered sugar, malted milk powder and baking cocoa; set aside. In large microwavable bowl, add cereals. Use unsalted butter since the mix contains plenty of salt from the seasoning salt, peanuts, pretzels, cheese crackers and Worcestershire sauce. Pre-heat oven to 250°. Put cereal and seasoning mixture into ungreased roasting pan and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool, about 15 minutes.
My recipe uses equal amounts of three Chex cereals. I’ve seen people use Cheerios, too. Just aim for a total of 9 cups of cereal. Chex Mixes are one of the most popular snack mixes in the United States.

How to make this easy Reindeer Chow:
Let cool for 10 minutes on the baking sheets before serving. Place 2 cups bagel chips in a large bowl and lightly crush them with your hands into bite-sized pieces. Add 4 1/2 cups Rice Chex, 4 1/2 cups Wheat Chex, 3 cups pretzels, and 1 cup peanuts, and lightly toss to combine. Try making your Chex Mix with a different bite-size pretzel shape or even with flavored pretzels like those from Snyder’s of Hanover. Other crunchy mix-ins to try are mini bagel chips, Cheez-Its, Goldfish crackers and potato sticks.
Seasoned salt - Seasoned salt is salt mixed with some spices including turmeric, paprika, and garlic. It will change the overall flavor of the Chex Mix, but you could substitute kosher salt if you had to. I included the three original Chex cereals – corn, rice and wheat – in my cheesy version. You can mix and match your favorites as long as you use a total of 9 cups of cereal. Add fresh herbs just before serving. Fresh herbs like parsley, thyme, and rosemary will make your Chex Mix sing, but they will cook to nothing if you add them before baking. Toss them with the mix after it's cooled for the best flavor. Combine the Chex cereal, pretzels, peanuts and M&Ms in a large bowl. Spread into a Single Layer. For spicy Cajun Chex Mix, add 1 tablespoon of cajun seasoning to the butter mixture. For Tex-Mex Chex Mix, add 1 tablespoon of taco seasoning or fajita seasoning to the butter mixture. Plus, our version can be made with whatever cereal, toasted nuts, and crunchy snacks you’ve stocked up on. Prepare the corn and wheat Chex. In a large microwave safe bowl, add the corn Chex cereal, wheat Chex cereal, almonds, pecans, and mini pretzels. Grocery store snacks are some of the most iconic experiences in the food world — all things crunchy, salty, crispy, and sweet — and rarely duplicated. Pour the cereal mixture into the melted butter mixture and toss to coat. You'll also use a tablespoon each of granulated garlic , onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce, as well as a half teaspoon of kosher salt. Now spread the coated ingredients out onto your baking sheets so that they are in an even layer that's not too deep. Then, remove the sheets and gently stir and turn the ingredients over, smooth them into an even layer, and bake for another 20 minutes. Repeat the mixing and stirring once more, bake for a final 20 minutes, and then let the sheets cool for 10 minutes. Transfer everything to paper towels for a full hour of cooling.
